Frequently Asked Questions

We don't accept financial aid, but we have some pretty great reasons why! The founder of our school, Dr. Ince, decided that he wanted to create an amazing opportunity for those who desire to enter the field. He believed that students not only deserve a great education, but also an affordable and convenient option. Rather than opting to make our school more expensive in order to allow for financial assistance, Dr. Ince chose to implement affordable tuition prices; providing our students with the opportunity to graduate with little to no student loan debt. If none of our payment plan options work for you, please give us a call. We are more than happy to customize a plan!

Yes, you can pay by check. Checks must be sent two weeks before your start date, and you must call our admissions team to provide a tracking number. They should be addressed to Zollege Management Inc., 715 Discovery Blvd. Suite 412, Cedar Park, TX, 78613.

The time it takes to become a Medical Assistant varies between schools and certification programs. Our curriculum is 18-weeks long and fully prepares students to start working as a medical assistant.

The Pulse Medical Assistant Program is a 'hands-on learning program.' We take a different approach from traditional education. Our classes take place in a medical office rather than a classroom. There is a hands-on component to every part of our course. Our classes begin with a lecture/class discussion, but the majority of the class time is spent in labs learning the essential techniques of Medical Assisting. When our students graduate and begin their career, they are at home in a medical office.

Medical practices expect newly hired medical assistants to know fundamental skills. Our program focuses on helping you master those skills to set you up for success in your new career.

When you graduate from any medical assisting school you receive a certificate of completion. The length of the program does not affect your qualifications. What matters most is that you have the skills needed to be successful in your new career.

Medical assistants and nurses have different responsibilities and educational requirements. Medical assistants typically work under the supervision of a physician and perform both administrative and clinical tasks. Nurses have more extensive clinical responsibilities and require more education and licensing. Both roles are essential in healthcare settings.

Certification requirements vary by state and employer. While not always required, becoming certified can improve your job prospects and earning potential. Our program prepares you for certification exams and provides the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in the field.

Medical assistants can work in various healthcare settings including doctor's offices, clinics, hospitals, and specialty practices. Job responsibilities may include taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, assisting with procedures, managing patient records, and scheduling appointments. Benefits vary by practice and should be discussed with the hiring practice.
